The Future Of She In The Know

Blogging is one of my favourite ways to share content online; I love taking photographs, compiling blog posts and then hitting publish. In-fact it was as an eleven year old girl that I ignited a passion for blog writing, but never did I envision how much the blogging industry would blow up or in the way it did. I mean; here I am ten years down the line, with a website on a self-hosted domain that I'm extremely proud of.

I curated She In The Know in 2015 and from memory this is the fourth time I have hit refresh. I have found it incredibly difficult to find my voice online, but also find what I enjoy writing about most and that's why I decided to take a step back and assess where I'm at and where I want to be. From here on out, She In The Know will follow under the Fashion, Beauty, Wellbeing and Lifestyle categories - however these may change over time.

As I said before; I did take a step back from blogging to assess where I was at, but also to assess the future of She In The Know and I can safely say that I am finding my feet again. During my hiatus I launched my photography business, my home and giftware shop, tied up a lot of loose ends and in general took time to myself - time that I felt was necessary.

The future of She In The Know

Here we are; the topic of conversation. What is the future of She In The Know? There is no denying it, I have asked myself this question more than a handful of times but what is the future of She In The Know?. I love writing and this is undeniably my favourite platform, it's where I started and it's the only platform that I technically own. I want to use this space to create content that I am passionate about, but more in-depth. You can only create content of a certain length on Instagram and Twitter, so this will be a space wherein I write about all things She.

It will also be a space wherein I share images of my travels, products I'm loving, self portraits and more.

As they say - you have to give some to gain some in this industry and that's what I'm all about - putting content out that I enjoy on platforms I enjoy.

I just hope you will come along for the ride.

  2. Wow! It sounds like you've been busy! That's one of the greatest things about blogging though, it's always waiting for you when you're ready to come back or have more time. Having your own platform is a major plus too. Can't wait to see what comes next x
